Chianti classico wine grand tour

This wine-lovers tour will open your eyes and palates to various Tuscan wines and typical products. After breakfast we will depart Florence in a private air conditioned car or minivan for a scenic drive into the heart of Chianti Classico , the most renowned wine production area in our region. Greve is our first stop, whose marvelous Piazza Matteotti with its unmistakable shape, is the heart of the town. There are dozen of characteristic boutiques that face the square which offer the best traditional local products starting with the unfailing Chianti Gallo Nero wine . We continue our drive through the countryside, stopping for a wine tasting at a charming Medieval castle , Farmhouse or at a Villa whose Sommeliers will be happy to welcome you and spend an hour together to discover the treasures of Chianti. Here also we visit the cellars and taste the wines together with a light snack . Lunch will follow at one of our favourite trattorias in Tuscany where local seasonal delicacies and local wine are the leading players. Moreover your private driver will show you villas , farms , churches and soft , rolling hills in a landscape where history and nature combine almost everywhere in this area and also where one thinks there are only fields, suddenly there appears a perfectly intact medieval church or an ancient hamlet .
