S. Gimignano, Siena, Monteriggioni and Chianti Tour
The first stop is San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the most splendid examples of a medieval town (free time). The day will continue with a guided tour of Siena, where you will be enchanted by the architectural styles of the Cathedral and of the Palazzo Comunale facing Piazza del Campo. We then proceed to formidable Monteriggioni: a former key defensive location and the perfect example of a walled, medieval town; one of the best preserved in Italy. In the afternoon we will tour the Chianti Classico area, taking in its charming scenic views. Here you will have the pleasure of experiencing an itinerary through taste while touring a famous wine estate that produces Chianti Classico, oil, balsamic vinegar, and aromatic herbs. A snack consisting of combinations of various sliced cold meats, bruschetta, salami and cheeses will accompany the tasting.
