Soak up Florence’s must-see sights on this complete half-day tour of the city. By comfortable chauffeured vehicle, the tour begins with a photo-stop at one of the most popular observation spots of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, driving past the Basilica di San Miniato al Monte, the finest Romanesque structure in Tuscany. Then we head to the historic city of Florence for a panoramic tour of the main monuments before leading to Fiesole, hill-town of Etruscan origins, for a photo-stop. We will admire the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, the last residence of the Medici dinasty, Chiesa del Carmine housing the magnificent early Renaissance frescoes by Masaccio, Via Tornabuoni the most elegant street in Florence and the Church of Santa Croce with its tombs of brilliant Italian men.
