DESCRIPTION
After a quick train journey of about an hour and a half, you’ll arrive at Rome Termini Station.

From here, you can reach the most iconic and important squares and monuments in the city’s history on foot.

Here’s our suggestion for your itinerary:

Colosseum and Roman Forum – group guided tour
Start your tour at the Colosseum, the universal symbol of the city. Even just admiring it from the outside is breathtaking. Continue with a walk through the remains of the Roman Forum, the heart of public life in ancient Rome.

Piazza Venezia and Altar of the Fatherland
Just a few minutes’ walk away, you’ll reach Piazza Venezia, dominated by the monumental Altar of the Fatherland (Vittoriano). You can go up to the terrace for a panoramic view of the city.

Trevi Fountain
Head towards the spectacular Trevi Fountain: toss a coin and make a wish, according to Roman tradition.

Pantheon
Stroll through alleys and squares until you reach the majestic Pantheon, one of the best-preserved buildings of antiquity, now a church.

Piazza Navona
End your visit at Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s most beautiful squares, famous for Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers and its lively atmosphere with street artists and cafés.
