Description
The first stop of the excursion is in Pisa, where you will visit Piazza dei Miracoli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with your guide for a 1-hour long guided tour. You will see the Leaning Tower, The Baptistery, and the Cathedral. After the tour, you will have lunch in a typical Tuscan winery where you will be able to taste local food and some of the most renowned and delicious Tuscan wines.
After lunch, the excursion will bring you to Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. Here you will visit the Museo Leonardiano which hosts a collection of more than 2.000 works from the artist, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, and inventions. You will also be able to admire Leonardo’s studies as an inventor and engineer.
This excursion is a great chance to see two of the most beautiful cities in Tuscany and to get to know the work and life of one of the Renaissance's geniuses.
