The Gallery also houses some impressive works by European artists, like Van Dyke's Cardinal Bentivoglio, and Rubens' The four Philosophers and The Allegory of war. All these paintings are not arranged in chronological order but based on the personal esthetic taste of the inhabitants of the palace, which helps give the Gallery its own unique charm and lavishness.
